અમેરિકા અને ઈરાન વચ્ચે પશ્ચિમ એશિયામાં છેલ્લા ત્રણ મહિનાથી ચાલી રહેલા યુદ્ધનો અંત લાવવા માટે કરારની જાહેરાત ભલે થઈ ગઈ હોય, પરંતુ આ ઐતિહાસિક ડીલને લઈને હજી પણ ઘણા મહત્વપૂર્ણ સવાલોના જવાબો મળવાના બાકી છે. રવિવારે યુએસ પ્રમુખ ડોનાલ્ડ ટ્રમ્પે આ સમજૂતી પૂર્ણ થઈ હોવાની જાહેરાત કરી હતી અને સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર 'ક્રૂડનો પ્રવાહ શરૂ થવા દો' લખીને મિડલ ઈસ્ટમાં શાંતિ પુનઃ સ્થાપિત થવાના સંકેત આપ્યા હતા. પરંતુ વાસ્તવિક ધરાતલ પર આ કહેવું જેટલું સરળ છે, કરવું તેટલું જ મુશ્કેલ દેખાઈ રહ્યું છે. વૈશ્વિક સ્તરે આ ડીલ પર પ્રતિક્રિયાઓ આવી રહી છે ત્યારે કરારમાં રહેલી કેટલીક મોટી કાયદાકીય અને રાજદ્વારી ખામીઓ હવે સપાટી પર આવી રહી છે, જેમાં ખાસ કરીને ઈરાન પરના આર્થિક પ્રતિબંધો, જપ્ત કરાયેલી સંપત્તિ અને ઇઝરાયલ-હિઝબુલ્લાહ સંઘર્ષ મુખ્ય છે.
