Weight restrictions to ban Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) from entering the Lower East Ward area of Sligo town have been approved by An Garda Síochána. It is expected that the necessary weight restriction signage, prohibiting Heavy Goods Vehicles in excess of 7.5 Tonnes, will be erected in the coming weeks.
