In a motion before the November meeting of the Borough District of Sligo, Cllr Fergal Nealon called on the local authority to write to the National Transport Authority as well as Minister for Transport Darragh O’Brien and Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht and at the Department of Transport Jerry Buttimer calling for the S2 bus service to add a stop at Sligo airport.
