A 17-year-old student at Morton East High School in Cicero, Illinois, was shot and killed on Thursday afternoon. The family of Johan Adaree-Sanchez is asking anyone with information to come forward as police continue searching for the killer. Adaree-Sanchez had dreams of joining the military and supporting his mother. His family claims he had been dealing with bullying at school, and they are urging the school district to take action. A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses.

Family and friends of Linda Brown, a Chicago Public Schools teacher who has been missing since Saturday, are searching the area where police found her vehicle. Surveillance video shows Brown parking her car and walking across the 35th Street pedestrian bridge, but there is no video of her coming back or getting back into her car. Brown was reportedly headed to Wicker Park for an appointment, but never arrived. She was going through some mental and other health challenges. Anyone with information on Brown's whereabouts should contact Area One SVU detectives at (312) 747-8380.

A 17-year-old girl was taken into custody after she stabbed her classmate at Zion-Benton Township High School in Illinois. The victim, a 17-year-old female, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. The offender fled the scene but was quickly apprehended by the school resource officer. The police rendered aid to the victim until the Zion fire and police departments arrived.
